What happens after online registration?

Your documents will be automatically forwarded to our partner bank, and your account is typically available within 24 hours. Additionally, you will gain immediate access to your froots customer portal, where you can customize your account to suit your needs, keep track of all relevant information, change settings, and open additional accounts.

Step 1: Your personalized profile

In the first step, we will ask you questions about your experiences and attitudes towards investing, as well as your financial situation and investment goals. With this information, we will create a personalized investment proposal.

Step 2: Personal investment portfolio

Based on your information, you will receive an initial overview of how your portfolio and the underlying asset allocation might look.

Step 3: Open an account

To open your account, simply have a photo ID ready and take a picture of yourself. After the identification process, we will take care of the rest and open your account for you.

Step 4: We take care of everything

Done! Once your account has been opened with our partner bank, you can deposit funds flexibly. If you started with a savings plan, the first amount will be debited at the beginning of the following month.

Do I need to register online?

You can also complete the registration together with Johanna, Marlène, or David. Choose a convenient appointment for you and meet us online or in Vienna. We’ll be happy to explain everything in detail and address your personal questions.


How do I sign the contracts digitally?

The contracts are automatically signed through our identification process. All you need is a valid photo ID and a photo of yourself. Non-Austrian citizens will need a passport.


How can I start investing after successful registration?

In the registration process, you choose whether you prefer a one-time payment, a monthly savings plan, or a combination of both. Monthly amounts starting from 75 euros will be automatically deducted from your reference account at the beginning of the following month, while one-time payments are made by you manually. In general, your entries can also be adjusted at any time, as we aim to adapt flexibly to each life situation.


What information can I adjust after completing the registration?

You can adjust or pause your payments flexibly at any time. Since you will receive your own IBAN, you can deposit funds into your froots account whenever you like. We invest everything in your account at least once a week.

Similarly, your time horizon or account name can be changed flexibly at any time. If you want to open additional accounts for yourself or your loved ones, this can also be done flexibly through your customer portal.

Are the planned payments I specify during the registration process binding?

No, these details are completely non-binding. You can deposit and withdraw funds with froots flexibly at any time.

If you start with a savings plan, it will be debited at the beginning of the following month. You can make changes to it at any time through your customer portal.


How can I open multiple accounts with froots?

You can open as many accounts with froots as you like. The first step is to register and open your initial account. Once you’ve completed the registration, you can initiate the opening of additional accounts conveniently through the froots customer portal, without having to go through the registration process again.


Will my portfolio always remain the same as in the investment proposal?

No. We actively manage your portfolio according to our proven investment approach. We take into account the market as well as your individual needs, such as your risk/reward profile and investment horizon. This way, your portfolio always aligns with your current needs.


How will I be informed by froots?

As a froots customer, you can log into your portal at any time to view all transactions and positions. Additionally, froots publishes monthly market updates and provides a detailed quarterly report on the performance of your portfolios via email. If you have any questions or concerns, our team is happy to assist you.
